Quinoa is best soaked overnight to make it more digestible, and rinsed thoroughly before cooking.
To cook, add 1 cup of Quinoa to 2 cups of water, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed. Quinoa is great cooked with carrots, onions, celery and Himalayan crystal salt, you can add some Virgin olive oil, Raw pumpkin seed oil or coconut oil when cooked.
Quinoa is also great as a high energy breakfast, just add some goji berries, nuts and seeds and coconut oil for a super nutritious start to your day.
