Organic Traditions Turmeric Powder is derived from certified organic, premium quality turmeric root that is sustainably grown and harvested, the powder is 100% pure and completely free from additives, fillers and excipients. Turmeric is a rhizome that is part of the ginger family. Its Chinese name literally means “yellow ginger.” As Nature’s most important spice, it has been used as a food preservative, a colouring agent and a culinary flavour. It has also been used as a natural dye and as a popular cosmetic in India and Asia for healthy, glowing skin.
Take one teaspoon of Turmeric Powder once daily. Use turmeric in all culinary preparations. Make a delicious turmeric beverage by adding ½-1 teaspoon (approx. 1-3g) of powder to water or coconut water with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a natural sweetener of your choice. Add Turmeric Powder to recipes such as salad dressings, curries, stir-frys, seafood dishes (Turmeric Glazed Wild Salmon), soups, smoothies and more. The powder works wonderfully in a simple Miso soup. Turmeric powder can also be used topically. Mix the powder with honey or royal jelly to create a face mask or make a paste for rashes, skin irritations and bruises.

We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 2pm on the same day. We do not dispatch on weekends, so orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched on Monday regardless of the shipping option selected.
All delivery times quoted are in working days (i.e. Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). Although on occasion of our delivery partners, at their discretion, may attempt delivery on Saturday for your added convenience.
